In 2023, a team of educators, AI researchers, and game designers came together in Abu Dhabi with an ambitious question: What if every child on Earth could access a brilliant, personalized tutor — one that speaks their language, adapts to their pace, and makes learning feel like an adventure?
Traditional education treats every child the same. MentorStar treats every child as unique. Our AI-powered platform transforms curriculum into personalized, playable quests guided by Socratic AI mentors — giving children aged 4–16 a learning experience that's rigorous, joyful, and entirely their own.

The Spark
Ahmad Al-Farsi assembles a founding team in Abu Dhabi with a radical idea: make curriculum playable through AI.
2024 · Q1
First Prototype
Alpha build of the AI quest engine completed. First children play-test learning quests covering UAE National Curriculum math.
2024 · Q3
Seed Funding
Closed a $3.5M seed round from leading GCC and global EdTech investors. Team grows to 20.
2025 · Q1
Pilot Launches
Partnered with 15 schools across Abu Dhabi and Dubai for pilot programs. 2,000+ students enrolled in the first cohort.
